Why Allie made it

I wanted a sandalwood soap that felt earthy rather than perfumey. Sandalwood and frankincense essential oils set the aromatic direction, while Moroccan clay, charcoal, oxides, walnut shell powder, and Australian sandalwood powder build the bar’s marbled look and tactile character.

What it feels or smells like

The aroma is warm, woodsy, and grounded, with frankincense adding resinous depth. The powders and clays give each hand-cut bar visible variation, so no two patterns land exactly alike. Its oil-and-butter base produces the lather for an everyday cleanse.

Ingredients or materials

Coconut oil, avocado oil, mango seed butter, porcine tallow, sunflower oil, olive oil, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, sandalwood essential oil, frankincense essential oil, Moroccan clay, red oxide, charcoal, black oxide, sodium lactate, walnut shell powder, and Australian sandalwood powder. Contains porcine tallow and walnut shell powder. This product is not vegan.

How to use

Work the bar into a lather with water, cleanse, and rinse thoroughly. Set it on a draining soap dish so it can dry between uses.

Care and safety

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use on broken or irritated skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Store in a cool, dry place.
